Live on a river, docks not allowed, consequently everything goes in the boat--including the #@! Air Chair. Curious if anyone has an air chair tower rack and what they think. Working with Sampson and they said their is no good place to put one without blocking the driver or passenger.

Any thoughts, pictures, products?

There is a little bit of info in those links.

Plus, I thought that the whole boat was a rack?

Check out www.Mako-Ind.com, they have one that does a good job holding foils and some of their online dealers sell them for about $250. You will need to know the tube diameter of your tower to order.

Right now the two best that I have found is the Air Boom Rack and the 13th Floor Tower Rack. The Air Boom Rack is very stable because of the strut clamp. I can't imagine a foil flopping around on the side of a tower without a strut clamp like the Mako rack. My problem with the Air Boom is it mounts so low on the tower that it actually drags the water on turns. They also are in your line of sight. The 13th Floor Tower racks are hard to find info about from people that actually use them. Would work good for a Direct Drive, might be a reach for a V Drive though. I have two Air Boom Racks and I'm not putting them on my new boat. If you can mount them higher on your tower than I can on a new style Swoop they will work great. I'm thinking going to the top of the tower and not the side this time.
