anybody with a new 04 xstar, what type of batteries are you running, brand name, size, model number.....etc. And are you usually running with the switch on both or single??? thanks

Well, it's not a new X-Star, but in our '01 X-30 I have had great luck with 2 Optima Blue Top, Deep Cycle using a Perko switch. I was using an isolator, but seemed to experience problems now and then. Put on the switch, no more problem.

i have a 04 x-star with 4 excide & a perko switch & have no problems. i work at stereo & we work on alot of mastercrafts

on our 04 x-star i know we have them both running at the same time and i forget the size but it is more than required.
