For those using the bilge drain hole for intake on your D-I-Y ballast system, is anyone using a scoop on the bottom of the hull to improve filling while underway? If so, where did you get it and how did you attach it? Thanks, Rich

If you already have the drain in place (which I'm assuming you do), you can add this:

http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10001&productId=80046&catalogId=10001&classNum=71&subdeptNum=70&storeNum=11

You may not need it. I would get everything installed & check your fill times before adding it. I'm using our center drain plug without that scoop & I'm worried that if I add it, it could force water past the pump at speed (which it doesn't do right now).
