I am looking at the possibility of buying a (used)boat and having it shipped to me. Its about 1750 miles away (TX to CT). I have filled out a couple of quote forms online, but does anyone know what this should cost (ballpark)? Can anyone recommend a good shipping company? The boat is a Supra Comp, if it matters. Thanks!

Hey Tim please make sure your insurance covers it while being transported or the shipping company's insurance covers it. A friend of mine used to move sailboats to/from FLA. He made sure someone's insurance was in effect before he hitched up.

Godd luck.

Shipped from NY to CA, cost was $1250 + crane fee on and off the trailer. Crane fee was $150 on and $50 off.
