That is an awesome boat! Nice color scheme!

What options did you choose?

What did you pay out the door?

How does it drive compared to other boats you've driven?

What's the story on those board racks?

Did MC dump the 03 boardracks?

One thing I can say is that it drives and has a stock wake that is better than any other boat I have been on. The thing that impresses me the most is how it handles rough water and double ups. We were out in a bay yesterday with huge boats and it cut through the rough water easily.
The board racks are definately awesome because there are no straps or clamps to get in your way. It has the Clarion Marine in it. The accesories are 4 tower speakers with forward lights, bimini, bow ladder, bow fill in cushion, and binding blaster. There are a couple other small stuff but those are the main accesories.

Nice boat! Those racks look easier to use than the '03 style. At least you don't have to be 7' tall to use them.
Did you galvanize the trailer? I see it's a different color than the fiberglass fenders

Yes that is a galvanized trailer, great looking boat, did you get the closed cooling system as well. Do you use it primarily in salt water?

By William Ely (projectely4) on Tuesday, September 09, 2003 - 9:03 am:    Edit Post Delete Post
we got closed cooling so we could use it in both salt and fresh. We use it in both types of water

By William Ely (projectely4) on Wednesday, September 10, 2003 - 4:35 pm:    Edit Post Delete Post
i think the washdown is like the shower but doesn't have hot cold option

Do you have 2 tower light switches?
Mine are wired to one switch the other is wasted. Two lights face forward and two back.

How much weight are you running? Today I had stock- 1100 lbs, 2 fulls in the back- 1200 lbs (bladders only), 2 side sacs in the front- 600 lbs, 2 - 65 lb leadheadz, full tank of gas - 456 lbs, 5 riders. 350 HP MCX and an ACME 13.5 * 16 4 blade prop. Running 26.2 mph/ 3800 rpms - max depending on gas and wind.. She likes it!

Yeah we have two tower light switches but only one works but we only have lights facing forward that are connected to the speakers. Right now we are runnning just standard ballast, full tank of gas, 4 people, 350 mcx. I have only ridden behind it twice now we got it last weekend so we weren't putting any extra weight in it and i was really impressed with the wake with just standard.

Chris, that is an amazing amount of weight! Do you have any pictures of the wake with that much ballast? It must be waist high!

No but I will work on getting some posted. The wake is great! I owned a 00 X-Star and weighted it much the same, the new wake is larger!
