So I'm in the process of changing my fuel sending unit. I have the old unit out and looking at the new one that i ordered from skidim and thinking it might be too ling to fit
in the tank. The unit says adjustable for tanks 4-24 inches deep but the arm that the float mounts too it way to long for my tank that is about 7 inches deep. I'm wondering if I can just cut the arm down so it fits in the tank. I think I will also have to bend the fliat arm as per the instructions for my tank depth
