We used to have this stuff as decking around our pool when I was a kid, it's sort of like a hard plastic fatigue mat.

I think it might work really well to give carpets some chance of drying with sacks left in place. Might be nice in the bilge too if you have some relatively flat areas.

Anyone ever used something similar?

My supra came with something similar underneath the bow sac.

I have Dri-Dek under the rear sacks, and beneath the seats in my boat where I store wet fenders and lines... the gray color almost matches my interior carpet perfectly. The drawback, it's expensive. Website is:
