I bought the boat last summer and we used it for wakeskating/wakeboarding...now I wanna surf. how should I set it up? how fast should I go? I got a bow sac ( 1 000#) with a tsunami pump. what else should I get? normal crew of 4-5 people so around 800# in body weight.
thanks for the input guys!
I surf behind on of my buddies...We run stock ballast surf side 370 across the bow to elongate the wave and an additional 1250 surf side.
speed depends on the boat. 7-12 clean up the wave to where about where their heels sit works for most also depends on rider weight and board size.
Oh yeah sorry speed at that weight is right around ten.
Hope you surf goofy....
^^why is that? prop rotation?
thanks hate and scott
^^^ Yup ^^^
starboard wake is good, port you can make rideable, but it's not as clean in my experience.
06 & later 210's are the opposite w/ the PCM v drive.
ok...so how does one set up a good wave on a 210?
I'm the only Goofy on this particular boat and everyone has a good time. Yes its better on the darkside but still very rideable on the reg.
good to know.
This is bow sac (700 lbs~), 400lbs ski locker, 400 lbs rear V-drive compartment and like 3 people on surf side, driver on the other
^^thanks for the input.
nice picture too!
bump it up!
Center and left tank full, 6-7 grown men in the boat.....('03 SAN)
I can't figure out how big the wave is on the last pic
Here's a pic of my '97 Super Sport surf wave. 750# in right rear locker, 580# in ski locker, 380# in the bow and about 7 people spread about favoring the driver side. Driving slightly clockwise at about 12mph if I remember correctly.
