I've got a 08 Moomba with the fiberglass platform and the black tread for the platform cover. I'm looking to buy the same material for the back of the boat just near the platform to prevent scratching from the wakeboard and from the possible hitting of the boat from surfing. Anyone know where to get this material? Thanks. |

I use 3M paint protection. You can find it at your local tint shop or detail shop. |

GATOR GRIP www.wakejunky.com Use it on our boat and love the stuff. |

I too use Gator Grip and it works well. I was getting some scratches from people putting on their boards now those scratches are a thing of the past thanks to Gator Grip. Thank you Gator Grip! |
|
Any advice on getting the old material off? Also is Gator Grip more durable than what originally comes on the platform, I am thinking mine will last a few more years, but if Gator grip doesnt get marked up I will switch it now. Thanks |

The Gator grip doesn't really match the factory stuff on the platform... does anyone know of a Gator grip like material, except with a different pattern? |

The 3M clear bra is the way to go. I could take pictures... but it wouldn't do any good since you can't tell it's there anyway (see profile pic). I definitely prefer the factory-look more than having grip pads all-over my transom... (Message edited by phenom_1819 on June 20, 2008) |

I have this one http://www.keelshield.com/transomshield.html in medium. It's been sitting in my closet. I'm not using it, I just have the scrathces buffed out and refinished once a year...no big deal. Anyone wants it make me an offer. |

I did find these guys http://hydroturf.com/index.php But i think i would like the clear shield better. I am in Canada, would you ship it to me? |

Thank you all. The company that supplies Moomba e-mailed me. I'll probably go with that to match. |

go with the 3m clear bra.... it totally works, can't see it, it is cheap, you can do it yourself, and you can easily remove it.... |
