Looking at purchasing some new amps to run the following setup.

4 x Fusion 6.5" in the boat
4 x Polk DB651 in bullet pods on the tower
1 x 10" sub

At the moment i am thinking of using 2 Cadence FXA-5100 amps with the following specs
http://www.cadencestore.com/ProductCart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=128&idproduct=378

4 Ohm RMS Power: 4 x 100 Watts @ 13.8 Volts
2 Ohm RMS Power: 4 x 150 Watts @ 13.8 Volts
4 Ohm Mono RMS Power: 1 x 300 Watts @ 13.8 Volts
2 Ohm Mono RMS Power: 1 x 400 Watts @ 13.8 Volts
Frequency Response: 20Hz - 30kHz
S/N Ratio: >100 db
Damping Factor: >200 @ 100Hz
Minimum THD: <0.05%
Input Voltage: 200 mV - 8 Volts
Dimensions: 18" x 11" x 2.75"

Whats peoples opinion on these amps/recomendations on other amps? Am i better of using two 4 channel amps and seperate amp for the sub. Havent got a real lot of space so im trying to limit the number of amps as much as possible, and the budget doesnt quite stretch as far as Zapco/Arc level amps.

Appreciate any opinions/advice. Thanks.

I would get a kicker zx series 4 channel amp for the inside and tower speakers. Then a seperate kicker mono amp for the sub..

If you do two of those amps... I would get a 2ohm sub and wire it for 2 Ohm Mono RMS Power: 1 x 400 Watts.

Then wire your 4 interior speakers to the other 2 channels in parallel for a 2ohm load on each channel for 2 Ohm RMS Power: 2 x 150 Watts. Then give the tower speakers 4 Ohm RMS Power: 4 x 100 Watts with the other amp.
