if when installing a jabsco pump, the intake
is on the bottom of the boat, can the water be
pumped baack out the same way it came in.
while the boat is still inthe water??

Yes, it can. I have a jabsco pump running through my drain hole in the bottom of my boat and it pumps water in and out of the hole with no problem. I can even fill and empty while I'm moving.

I used the simer as it is the same but hal;f the price. it is not ignition safe for the engine compartment though.
