I highly doubt those things would fit under most engine covers. There's barely enough room now. I think those things are mostly for the I/O, jet boat market.

hell you could always cut a hole in the cover and have that sweet thang sticking out the top, would look smooth as hell

I saw Mastercraft @ the boat show last year that had a fiberglass Hood scoop incorprated into the engine cover, It looked very racy Ill try to find a photo of it. It would work perfict in this aplication. I know clearance is a problem. When Nautique had the supercharged Lightning motor in there Ski Fly boat they had to custom made a engine cover that would clear the supercharger it looked stupid.

V drive shouldnt have that much clearance problems
