Some gph numbers are inflated. I know the attwood numbers are supposedly under-rated. What about the Mayfair?

I had an Attwood 750 that just burned up on me. Went to West Marine and picked up the Mayfair 1000. BIG difference! The Mayfair filled up 2 full sized sacs in about 12 min. total time. (Including fumbling around switching sacs)
