Hey how is the wake? Has anyone road behind the v220?

I have an 06 V220 and I would say with the stock ballast setup and a few friends (4-5) the boat throws a great intermediate level rider wake. If you are looking for advanced or pro level wake your going to have to weight it down. I have heard that adding bags under the bow seats really increase the wake. Hopefully migs or kyle will see this thread, they can give you a lot more advice on the boats wake than I can. Also I knew that there are several threads on WW that have pics of V220 wakes.

fully weighed down, wake is solid! Not too peaky, but big long tranny. Super solid and doesnt break or crumble. internal ballast full, fat buddy in each rear compartment, one big fat sACK ON FLOOR IN REAR, and one fat sack in the bow. SOLID.

I have integrated 2 additional sacks in the rear storage and 2 more under the bow seats. For a total of 3000lbs. I changed prop to 3 blade 10.5 pitch. Great wake. Shape doesn't change, just gets bigger and bigger as you add weight. Doesn't curl or crumble! Wakesurfing wake is also nice... Nicer on drivers side I find.. easier to weight down... but with enough weight.. observers side is good too... but I find myself riding a few feet closer to the boat than some others. I will find some pics and post them.

I think it's a great wake. I have alittle over 2000 lbs. Once it weighted, you'll get hangtime.

Factory ballast 700lbs... then another 1200lbs in the rear lockers... and 1000 up under the bow seats...
