Just curious if there is any way to get more HP's from a Volvo 305 V8 carbed. I figure the best way is to add fuel injection but I might as well buy a new boat right?

Yep- More air in and more air out = power ! Manifolds/cylinder heads/carb all good upgrades to unleash power if you can find em.

Well, Not much:-) WOuld adding a better carb give me some more power? I have a 2 barrel Holley on it right now. Maybe a 4 barrel Holley would give a little more power for around 300 bucks.

Change the prop and you will be happy with the low end power increase.

Anything else is a waste of money and will never work as well as factory.
