If you get tower speakers, how do they fair in the weather? Do they make tower speaker covers? Do they need to be covered? Is there any other maintenance to worry about? We're thinking of getting them, any thoughts?

definately get some speaker covers if the boat wil be out side all the time.

speakersox.com has really nice covers and you can keep them on all the time because the cover is breathable.

Yes IMO you should keep your speakers protected from the elements as best possable. Sun,Dirt,Water. Ya know all the thing's that your speakers see every day. Speaker covers are a great Idea

Check out www.screaminsacs.com
They make covers that protect from the weather a little more than speakersox IMO
