I have been looking at a sky V208 Ski Supreme, fully loaded two 300 ballast tanks, wake plate, PP ect ect but I have not seen many reviews or posts about this brand of boat and I am curious if it is any good.
There are a few supreme owners on here. I haven't heard anything bad about them. I owned an 88 open bow ski supreme, and it ran great, threw a decent wake. I was very please w/ it for my first inboard
My friend has a 1990 and it runs like a top. Nice boat...steep wake.
call rich 916-631-8666 he can tell you all bout supremes.....
My buddy just picked up a '03 Supreme v-drive early this year and I've been out on it a bunch. It has a nice shape wake and it's a heavy boat including the 49 gal. tank. IMO it needs the 2x300 tanks plus more in the bow to throw a similar wake as my V210 w/ a 700 in the locker under the floor.
Nice fit and finish and a good no-frills boat for the money.
Driver seat is nice for tall folks but not close enough for my wife to be comfortable driving (she's 5'6").
I would easily take it over the moomba's I demo'd last year, but then again I'd also take my Sanger V210 over the Supreme-- I'm just biased of course.
I think it's an underrated boat that shouldn't deter you from getting it just because of the lack of evangelists and reviews on this site.
I won a 2003 Supreme 220. It has been a great boat, I have about 150 hours on it, no problems. Fit and finish are as good as any of the others. IMO you get alot for what you pay for. Hope this helps
That was own, not won...sorry
I have a 2004 V208. I love the boat and for the price I think it is hard to beat
Rebecca, check this link to boat comparisons. might help. http://www.waterskimag.com/boat_videos.jsp?year=2004
I have a '03 V208 and luv it. Solid boat, nice wake and looks sweet (see profile pic). I'd put it up against other brands any day. Never had any serious problems.
Rebecca, I just checked out your profile. Nurses rock!! notice my name? Clint RN? Best thing about being a nurse? No, not wipping A$$, but working 3 days a week (12 hr shifts). That translates to 4 days a week for riding.
Clint, Is your last name Focker? JK.
