Can anyone tell me where they have placed there xm antenna on a san. I have the terk xm3. If you have any pictures that would be helpfull too.

I didn't do in on a SAN, but on my Toyota I put the antenna all the way up forward inside the hull, as far up into the bow as I could reach. I secured it with some very heavy duty double stick tape. It works great there, it will only lose signal if somebody is sitting directly on top of the bow eye. Didn't have to drill any holes and the wiring was easy.

Not taking the antenna manufactures advice I indeed cut the ant. wire and fed it through my tower following the speaker wires. once through I soldered it back together and it works great.
