Darren - 03 Sanger - Is that a 50' line ?

By Scott (deepcove) on Saturday, March 20, 2004 - 9:24 am:    Edit Post Delete Post
Jamie,

It looks good to me, I just bought a 2004 Mobius with the front and rear Bertha Ballast, I will use the standard ballast for the start of the season, I am told the wake gets considerably bigger when you add a couple 500 lbs side sacs beside the motor. I also have the wake plate which can shape the wake more vert or rampy.

Clete, that is a 75 foot line at 22.5 mph. Sangers throw out a pretty narrow wake, I ride 80 foot at 23 very comfortably and aren't an advanced rider. Pretty sure you could ride 90 foot cleanly if you were good enough.

The Sanger's wakes look very clean and nice. A lot like the X2 older X-Star's shap and all.

Hey Thane thanks.
The speed was 21 mph. There were two GHS sacs on each side of the engine as far up as possible, a BG sac on the back side of the engine, two big sand bags in the bow, and like 3 people in the boat.
