So, I went up to the lake yesterday to measure the speakers in the 94 MC 205 and they were 6". WTF. I like to think I know about car aduio being that I have put numerous systems in during my HS days. I'm thinking of just getting 6.5" and making the holes a little bigger. Anyone have any sugestions of brand and price? I kinda want ones to match my int, (grey, with teal and purple accents)

Also, I have a total of 4 speakers now, but want to put 2 in the bow. Any sugestions on how to split 4 signals from a head unit to 6 total? Or should I pick up a cheap amp for the bow speakers?

Thanks in advace

I think I can get 3 pair of these for around $300. What do you think?

You can run the other 2 off of the set in the walk through section and put a resistor from radio shack in the positive line to keep it down to 4ohms. Glad to see someone else has that great color combo of teal and purple like me. Mine is a 1995 Prostar 205, could do without the lowsy colors, but I love the boat.

Oh yeah, go with the infinity speakers, they rock! I have them in my truck and they are the best sound quality speakers I have ever owned. They are made by Harmon Kardon.

Ya, HK, JBL, and Infinity are all part of Harmon industries. Is it worth it to pay that much for boat speakers? I was also looking at 3 pair of these.

Elaborate more on that resistor for me will ya frenchman. Also, your boat is pretty sweet, I would trade you in a second. You want a purple one?
