My friend started doing this grab the last time out and I was wondering if it was anything known. Its not a difficult in any way, but I was just wondering. Going HS he does, what looks like a backscratcher and grabs inbetween the binding and the tail on the HS edge w/his RH (RH & LH = rear/lead hand). He is trying to work his way to the TS edge from the bottom of the board kinda like what the suitcase is describe as but with his RH instead of the LH. I can draw it for a visual if needed and it will help better understand what I am talking about. |

I don't think I've ever seen that grab done. What's he gonna call it? |
I dont think he's thought that far ahead. We figured everything has been done before and just wanted to know what he was doing. |

Cliff, they pretty much have a name for everything, but I can't understand for the life of me what you're describing! |
isn't that an OHH? |
oh, i think you described it wrong (if you mean an other hand suitcase grab). you mean on hs he pops up, bends the board behind him, reaches back with his rear hand behind the board around to the toeside edge, and grabs. like if he was going to grab tailfish/lein, but then instead continues around behind the board to the opposite edge. that's pretty cool. basically an other-hand-oriental, but from the back of the board. lol, i was just going to say, "get that guy who did the illustrations in this post: http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/1/75549.html?1060084642, to draw them - but that's you!! Chris - I think that the oriental is a raley with a slob grab. He's grabbin' with his back hand. An other-hand suitcase describes it well I think. I can picture the grab. |
