so i was laying in bed last night thinking of ways to throw a rail in at my winch spot, and i was thinking, instead of putting all of the money out for trex, )which i didnt realize cost as much as i did) would it work put fiberglass resin on regular wood and hit the fiberglass surface?

Ive made 2 skimboards now, and i know, that with no sex wax, the wet fiberglass is quite slick. so i was curious. what this be a cheap alternative to trex?

u could also try bender board like the stuff they use for landscaping it works just like the trex and is a bit cheaper im not sure how much though resin may work but i imagine it would be really fast

i asked my dad if he thought resin would work, he thinks it would crack though.
