| Ok, I know theres probably a billion threads out there asking this question, but new stuff comes out and opinions change.
I'm looking at about the $250 range cause I don't really want to pour a ton of money into this with college expenses and all, but I want something solid. Any advice?

| That's kind of broad. Are you looking for wakeboards, jackets, handles, ipods, boats (good luck on that one)?
I demo'd a Slingshot response and really enjoyed it--it's great for carving. The house has them for $299
