This last weekend myself and my cousin slapped our sac on the water when crashing after doing some crazy trick that we can't land. It literally felt like it ripped open. Any suggestions on protection of the junk? Like a cup for Baseball.

hahaha you know what, i was thinking the EXACT same thing today, after watching my friend slap the boys on some failed crows. it hurt to watch. i dont think a cup would do much, same impact, probly be uncomfortable too, just gotta man up i suppose

I know a cup wouldn't work but something w/ the same idea/protection.

Can you imagine someone wearin a cup while boardin.

I believe I've seen barefoot compression shorts recommended.

Neoprene shorts.

You can always slap a wetsuit of any kind on when working on those tricks too.

i was at a pro shop today, adn they had board shorts that had like a mini pair of wet suit shorts in them. my guess was 3 mm. and they snapped into the shorts, and would be pretty tight agaisnt you. might work

" It literally felt like it ripped open"

This is cringe-worthy.

Totally gross that you and your cousin are slapping your sacks anywhere. Some things you keep to yourself, period.

You guys got " FIRELINED ". Its that little seam at the bottom if your sack where GOD sowed you together. We call it the fireline when you fall and it just..... BURNS!!

Wear a banana hammock under your trunks... also helps while trunking cold water early in the season...

Never heard 'firelined' before, but have been a victim. Great term.

Boxer briefs are enough for me.

I'm wondering how you and your cuz share a sac.

+1 on the neoprene shorts. The first time I tried a toeside roll on a ramp at the cable I ended up with one of the boys swollen to double it's size. Here's the crime in action....

Sounds like the neoprene shorts are the way to go.

John - You had the crow there! Thanks for sharing the swollen nut story. haha

I wear the Under Armor shorts. They don't completely eliminate the nut slappage, but they do help a lot...plus they dry quickly.

Try wearing whitie tighties! It helps a little, but still hurts

i hate sack slaps...happened a lot learning crows.

i agree with everyone talking about the neoprene shorts...or the ones with the built in liner (prolly a good idea for ya)..my buddy had a pair of jet pilots that had a liner in them...but just anything tight to minimize the freedom of the nutties should help a little, even tighter boxer briefs maybe...

and steveL calling it "firelined"...that's awesome ;)
