Anyone know what the deal is this weekend in the cove. Is it closed just for memorial day or is it the entire weekend?

well im not sure if the cove closure is still in effect this year, if that is the case though, the cove will be closed all weekend, every weekend, memorial day weekend through the end of labor day weekend. pretty shisty. those damn fisherman still have too much power. we need some more leverage over them. we need some more wakeboarders and, i hate to say this, waterskiers to start goin to board meetings and hopefully we can gain some leverage over the fisherman if we want to be able to use the cove, that we pay so much for, on the weekends. contact clay friedman, the club president, for more info on this.

Jason- it's just memorial and labor day weekend, but I just confirmed it is the entiore weekend. You are right, we need more peeps at the meetings. I went to one last year add it was myself and 50-60 over caffenated ass fisherman.

Its just closed for this weekend. Clay pulled some strings and we get to use it through out the summer on weekends.

I believe they are now the second tuesday of every month. I'll get a date.

Yes, there were quite a few boats out. There was not any wind, just a lot of chop from other boats.
