Damn that looks awesome. Can't wait to see what the Marius looks like. Any idea if the Faction board will continue? The Kink looks pretty similar to it. If the Absolute got a deepened spine that might be the perfect board, the landings are the only thing that needed improvement. I see a Transcend with some Zeus' in my future!!

Maybe its just me... but does anybody see a similarity, at least from these pictures to the old Prodigy shape? I'm just basin this on what i can see here.
Maybe I've been at work too long... but that kinda popped out at me.

The kink and pure bases look very similar, and they both look alot like the faction shape, just based on how the molded fins look.
And it looks like CWB has the adjustable fins like Gator as well.

The new Transcend is sweet. I can't wait to get my grimmy mits on one. It still looks very similar to the old board. The tip/tail profile have changed a bit, the waist seems to be a tad wider, the spine runs all they way tip to tail and the fins are a bit longer.
Should be sweet. Andrew said it pops harder, lands softer, and holds a better edge. What else could you want?

Wasn't the kink based on the prodigy shape? And the pure on the absolute? new stuff looks dope fo sho.
I've got a transcend i'm riding this wknd (i nthink 07). First time on a Cdub board and i'm looking forward to it. Are the fin extensions necessary? ridin a 3ds finless, so I'm thinkin not. Yea, it doesn't sound like the transcend has changed much.

Dang! i am totally Feeling a CWB Board this off Season as a new board anyone able to read what sizes the Transcend comes in??? It looks like 138 and 142 but i cant read the tiny blurry print anyone know?

Nacho, the Kink and Pure are the same shape wit ha different tip/tail profile. I think the Kink has a different glass layup to make it stiffer but don't quote me on that. Both are the older Absolute shape. You should be fine finless.
Yeah I want to see the new Answers. Having tried quite a few boots this year, I am very happy with my Answers.

Nacho, the Kink and Pure are both retired Absolute shapes.
The lotus is based on the old Prodigy with mild modifications.
The sweetest top deck I have seen is the new absolute. Those white bands are material attached to the board...leather I think. In person, it's very attractive.
The Transcend got slightly deeper molded fins and a tip to tail spine. I can't wait to ride it.

I strained my eyes a bit but the transcend "is 1/4 inch wider and that the center spine is the deepest ever made yet which will allow better landings and a quicker edge to edge feel." ... paraphrasing here.
"soft landings" i sure hope so, with the "deepest" spine

The Transcends center spine will probably be similar to the 08 Factions. It runs literally from tip to tail and is very pronounced. It makes a huge difference. I rode the Absolute for ever and it could skip on you if you were a bit off. The Faction has the ability to mash out landings, you land a bit off and the board just absorbs the hit and lets you ride away.

I just finished the CWB 09 promo vid, actually less than two hours ago, with all the guys riding the new products. Wait till you see the marius, and I think this is Andrews best looking board yet

O and about the transcend this year, while filming Andrew on his new board Id never seen Andrew go so far into the flats before and all he kept talking about was how soft the landings are on his new board.

Jeremy, I saw the Transcend in person, but didnt get to take any pictures. The modeled fins also look slighty cupped.

Great looking lineup. Any pics of the Answer bindings or the Marius? Looks like CWB steered clear of the neon that we have seen from other companies. There is not much color in this lineup, but the graphics are pretty clean overall.

Thank goodness for that...although I love the Transcend regardless of look, all those neon colors on the other brands would have me running to CWB in a heartbeat. That being said, the one think you can say for the crazy colors, they really pop in riding photographs, white and especially black boards are fairly boring.

I am liking the graphic on the foam Marius. The Platty also looks nice. If I were buying bindings, I would probably go with those Answers.

Jerm, the Zeus has a slightly higher wrap as well as a piece that is attached to the toe piece that stiffens the overall boot.
