It's at 404' now, once it gets to 400' they'll probably restrict it just as they did last year.

We went out yesterday and it wasn't 5 mph yet. Until it gets to 400, there will not be a speed limit. www.folsomlakemarina.com

Forgive the uninformed question, but what is the normal pool elevation and why do they enforce a speed limit at 400'? I looked at pics on the website... I couldn't imagine our lakes that low. Nice pics of history under the water though.

The park does not mark the hazards under 400 feet. Too many boats would crash on rocks and the ppl that run the lake decided it would be a 5 mph zone.

Side note: You should check out your line that you are going to use before you ride it. Especially when the water is low $.02
