Random I know...but I'm not a fan of wax from my surfboard rubbing my chest all day when paddling. Anyone know where you can get a tan through rash guard? I've done a little yahoo-ing and didn't get back much.

No alarmist cancer comments please... I like the sun ;)

Thanks in advance.

no tan Uv rays can be filtered through clothing.
Therefore, leaving you with MINIMAL exposure to the rays

Maybe try a black one?

Negatory. They make short sleeved rash guards, if you don't mind tan lines.

A white one will probably be the most UV transparent when you get it wet.

Most rashguards provide a UVP protection of around 50. If you wear a rashguard in hopes of getting an even tan, you will end up with tan hands, neck and face.
The best hopes of eliminating the wax on your chest is apply vasoline to your chest before you paddle out.
