I am having trouble with my 360... Last year I was landing them everytime...this year I have gotten in the worst groove!! Anyways, evrytime I hit the top of the wake I start spinnin off axis... I am thinking I have to wait little longer to start spinning but I don't know what to do? very frustrated... any suggestions?

On toeside spins you have to wait until you are in the air to spin. If you dont you will get off axis the wrong way, board in front you and land on your azz. What you really want to focus on is coming in to the wake with a nice progressive edge stand tall at the wake, and wait wait wait, till your in the air to spin. Once your in the air, pull the handle from your front hip to the small of your back, this will advance your towards the boat and keep you spinning on axis.

Good luck.

Andy is dead on with the early spinning.

Here's what helps me....

I break the trick down into two 180s. As I complete the TS 180, I yank the handle into my (now) front hip with both hands and push my chest up, then turn my head and shove the handle behind my back. This even give you a chance to abort the second 180 if you are off axis.

Unlike a lot of people, I pass the handle also and look out the back so that I don't over-rotate.

Especially with a TS 3, your body naturally opens up to complete the 1st 180, wait til you hit your peak and just turn the handle over into the small of your back. A TS 3 is not a big spin so don't worry so much about spinning.

This trick has owned me more times than I care to admit. You also may find it easier to take it to a 5.

You have to wait like others said...I tried going for a nose grab to help me wait on the pull...and that was met with mixed results.
lol

As you are rotating are you watching the water or the boat?

If you watch the boat, you will stop spinning at 180. I look at the boat to open up for the first 180, then turn my head to look out the back like a BS 180 landing.

5's are easier than three's, but a nice slow three is lots of fun.

Definitly two 180's. Pop, open your shoulders to the boat, then turn the last 180 away from the boat. It may help to look up and away from the boat to keep from over rotating.
