I don't know how many Marek's have leaked out into the community just yet. I think they will be available to the public on the 25th. I looked at one at the Ambush tent in Acworth and it is a great looking board and very light. I was surprised to see them there.

I have ridden both the Marius and Marek so it is just my opinion. The Marius 140 Platinum finless for me was a bit slow, great pop, slippery to keep on edge and landings in the flats were abrupt. The Marek 141 with fins was super fast, great pop, held an edge or slippery when wanted and soft landings in the flats. I am currently a LF Trip 138 guy so I am not trying to bash any brand, just giving my opinion with my riding style of a fairly aggressive hard edge. I would compare the CWB Absolute on edge characteristics more to the Marek.
