Not a bad board at all. It is a 3-stage rocker board that is east to learn on but not to advanced. It is designed to help you out with your toeside edge because of the way that it's shaped. It is usually sold as a package board and comes with the cabal bindings which are a great boot to start with. You can get a 134 or a 139 being the size that you are I would say to go with the 134 unless you are growing quickly and then maybe you should consider the 139. It is a good board though and you should look into it if you can find it for a good price.

I just bought a bunch of Ronix closeouts. Frontiers & Scouts, mainly. But I did get a few Vaults & Venues. www.BoardersMall.com

Its a good beginner board. I would also recommend CWB faction, Hyperlite Motive. These two boards are good beginner boards with a design that you will not grow out of easily. As you advance, the board shape will still work for you. The Vault I personally feel that you can plateau and need to upgrade as you advance. Again. only my opinion. I'm sure others would think differently because we all have different levels and styles of riding.

I hear the toe cut out thing is just a gimmick. I think ronix is a great company, i have the ONE and its my favorite board so far, but someone told me buying an A-symetrical board isn't the best idea, not trying to bash anyone who likes it though.
