Labor day weekend is coming up quick. My destinations are as follows. Wed-Aug-29- Fri Aug 31 @ Lake Pateros on the Columbia River. Thanks to Cliff for getting this organized again. I am trying to get it together so I can bring some sort of a rail setup over this year. I hope everyone is getting their tricks dialed in. Last year we had a best crash trying a new trick competition. This year, I think it should be for best new trick (something you haven't landed before) Everyone who is interested could make it more fun by throwing in 5-10 buck and winner could take it. Or other suggestions would be great as well. Sat. Aug 1- Monday Aug 3- @ Crescent Bar resort on the Columbia river. I would love to get out for an early morning set if anyone has a spot on a boat. If not I am also down to meet some people and have a few beers. Let me know if you will be at either place or if you have different plans in Washington, I would love to hear them as well. |
I'll share my itinnerary, because I can't wait for all that butter. Wed-Fri at Pateros as well then Friday thru Monday on the houseboats on Lake Roosevelt.
Ehh... I can take Pateros or leave it. I just get tired of crappy water conditions and all the crowds.
cliff, what is the head count for this year |
Cliff, I know I am a relative stranger, but how could I get in on some of that action for next year?? |
Desert AIRE, on the columbia river. |
Gary, I just finagled Ghostrider a couple rooms. I'm told we have the entire fire station side, and multiple rooms on the north end. I've got the prizes for the King of Crash wrapped up now, and I'm working on the Saturday night BBQ potluck. Mike is going to drag a 30' slider over and assemble it in front of the motel, and I'm going to try to fit John Fowlers kicker in the back of my truck to bring over. Friday morning I have four tee times setup at the golf course starting at 9:30. Thomas, Anybody is welcome to this event. I'm out of rooms at the hotel for this year, but there's camping down the street or rooms about a 1/2 mile up the road at the golf course if you're interested. |
Cliff, I dont understand "tee times" is that like pasture pool or something????? |
Gary - Do you have room in the boat all day on Friday? Will you take a surfer? Not sure if I am bring Dylan or not. I will be down (or is it up???) river Wednesday and Thursday. Then back to the west side for some labor day glass on Lk. Washington. |
Laci, your back in now? |
not fully. Just Friday. I will be with other friends at another location the first part of the week, so I thought I would come for one day if I can get on a boat that will allow wakesurfing. But I still have to be back in Seattle area by noon on Saturday for family stuff. |
Troy what golf course do you work at? |
A slider and a kicker!!! U guys R making it harder and harder for me..... |
Just talked to the wife...We're in!! I know Gary likes Pacifico, but, Noti, and Cliff, what do you like? Anyone else with a boat that would like to give me a pull, place your drink orders! See you all on Friday! (Message edited by jjakober on August 17, 2007) |
Wish I could take part! I leave for Roosevelt today around 5:30 for the next 9 days. Unfortunately Labor Day weekend I'm working and am forced into a BBQ with parents and the gf's parents....woohoo! I'm going to have to try and make it next year, looks and sounds like a blast! |
Laci, if we gotta surf, we gotta surf! J. glad to see you coming |
Darren and I will be surfing with the kids. Maybe Cliff will too. Cliff - What about a long drive contest? I can bring some old clubs so everyone has the same chance. I have ALOT of old balls laying around. Could do it Friday night after golfing. |
Noti, I'm not above surfing either! |
Is there anyway anyone would have room for one more. I was supposed to go to Powell and the stars didn't really align for that trip and would like to get out of the city for the weekend. I can help pay bring beverages, whatever. Let me know. |
OK here's what I have for schwag so far: 1. Arnette 4079 full house sunglasses in shiny black with polarized lenses 2. Jet Pilot Falcon Molded S/E Comp Vest Blue 3. 07 Obrien Zenon bindings black in a large 4. Complimentary subscription to Wakeboarding Magazine That's all I got this year! |
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ saaaaaweeeeeeeeeeeeet |
Mike, I will be over at crescent bar all weekend. I am hoping I can pick my new(old) boat up this week and get it ready by then. If you don't mind riding behind an 83 stars and stripes with 1500#'s and a extended pylon. We will be partying mostly but might be able to make it out for a morning ride once or twice. |
Patrick, If you don't mind camping, there's room for you. Jacober, I got the ok on the kicker, I'm picking it up in the am. |
Solo, you coming up this year??? |
Brett- I will keep an eye out for you. My old boat was a prostar 190 with about the same weight as yours so I would happily take you up on it. Where are you staying? What time are people getting to Pateros on wed? I am trying to figure out if I need to take the day off or if everyone is arriving in the evening. As for the slider, I got a nice start on it today at work. I still need rope and some sort of anchor system. I think it could be a little tricky to keep them in place with the current on the river. Any suggestions? |
Ya I know what you can use... Noti, for implying I'd ever surf. I just as soon have my testicles removed with a rusty butter knife. The experience would probably be more pleasurable for me. |
A little early to be playing weatherman, but the two week forecast looks to be an average of 75 degree days and 55 degree nights. Peeeeerfect. |
Mike, not exactly sure. My friends rented a 3 bedroom condo. I have never actually been to crescent bar. I usually go to my buddies cabin in Sunland. Hopefully I can get that boat by the labor day or I might kick myself in the face. I really do not want to be in Crescent Bar with no boat. |
By the way, we are having a pretty decent sale right now on gear if anybody needs anything. The Issaquah store has a lot better inventory though. |
decent sale on? (Message edited by ghostrider 2 on August 18, 2007) |
I'm there from wed to sat but may have to be back to the west side early. If so my room will free up for friday night. I also should have some room in my boat for riders all days. |
Adam, Your in Pateros, or Crescent Bar? |
Sounds like you guys are gonna have a good time. Wish I could make it. I have to go in on the 22nd to see if my knee is gonna need surgery. Maybe I'll make it to the Christmas Eve run...... |
Wish I could be there too. Sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun. I gotta take my daughter off to college then. |
I'm at Pateros. I'm not sure if there is going to be an abundance or shortage of boats but I only have one other confirmed person with me at this point so I will either need another rider or would appreciate jumping on another boat. |
Finding a boat to get on isn't going to be a problem. |
Brad, Where did you get these pics?
I thought those were lost. I've got a couple more for the nautique inclined.
The hotel from the river maybe.
Maybe a couple of the sunsets.
I'm drooling on my keyboard at this point. |
The golf course.
A little fishing with the kids.
It's amazing what you find when you clean your computer desk out.
Does anyone have a count on boats to people? I am happy to bring my Nautique, but I am just as happy to put the gas money that I would spend dragging it over there in someones tank.....Any opinions from people with previous Pateros experience? |
7 as far as I can tell. noti-cc 211 cliff-cc san jeff-bu vlx troy-bu vlx gary-bu vlx gramps-bu ?? kenny-sanger 215(?) |
Noti shes a 2005 V215. |
For those who have never been. There are 2 free launches within 200 yds of the hotel. Everyone usually pulls their boat at night due to the unpredictable currents and winds. The gas station is just down the street from the hotel so it's convenient to fill up in the morning before launching or in the evening when you pull your boat. There is ample truck/trailer parking at either end of the hotel. The Ace Hardware is also the local tackle shop and liquor store (mmmmm...Jaeger). There are 3 restaurants within 5 minutes walking and Brewster is only about 10 minutes away. Anything I missed??? |
jaeger-You missed the truck/car wash, bakery, jerky house/meat market and the local lady that always makes sure you have everything you need. Kenny-wash petty sure it was a v215, just didn't want to mis-rep you. More pics from last year.............
Right now the forecast for next wed is back up to 88. Let's hope it holds true. Put the biminis on and don't forget the sunscreen. |
This is killing me, I can't wait. 7 boats and how many riders this year? In my opinion, last year it would have been nice to have a few more boats out there. I am not complaining I just remember that there were plenty of riders to go around and a few even getting left on the docks. Adam- I would love to get a pull behind your S.S. if you end up bringing it. |
So how many of you are going to be there Fri-Sun. Sounds like some are heading out Friday? Here R some pics from last year. Maybe this will convince some of you to stay!!
jjakober |
Damn you guys are making it hard not to come. Hmmm... wonder how much overtime it would take to pay for the trip.... |
me imatating a wakeboarder is entertainment enough for everybody to come.. |
7 boats and no MC's? Whazzupwitdat?
Jay, I'll be there through Sunday afternoon. |
Eagle, I don't know what happened? All we said was no power turner's and they all backed out.JK One of these years we're gonna get you out there. |
You guys are going to have a fantastic time -- wish I could be there! I did get to ride the river a few weeks ago at Entiat and it was awesome. All day butter -- what a concept. Have a great time tubing |
I should be up for at least the day Friday and possibly overnight...still working details. If I come I will be bringing my boat. Greg |
Cliff, I have some people coming over that want to camp...Do I need to make reservations for them? Call me |
Great pictures. Man that is really a awesome looking lake. you'll have a blast there. |
Cliff, There is another couple coming that have reservations already, he and his son were there last year, Randall and Colton Smith dont know if you remember them or not, but they have a Malibu VLX that will be there also |
Gary, I remember talking to Randall last year I believe, glad their coming. I'll call you about the camping down the road. Greg, Love to see ya come, you won't regret it. Eagle, I don't know if the tube will come out this year. I am planning on a water rendition of Swan Lake I've choreographed for my new passion... trick skiing. Starting to look like a fricken Malibu reunion. (Message edited by Seattle on August 20, 2007) |
For those who want to camp or RV. http://www.paterossuperstop.com/rv.html http://www.pateros.com/services.html This should help anyone who needs to find lodging or camping near the event. Keep in mind all of these alternates are within walking distance of the hotel so it's not like you would be very far away. |
hey everybody, sounds like alot of fun. I dont have a boat or know any of the posters, but I love to ride and have a good time. if this isnt a invite only kinda deal I would be intrested on joining in for a day or two, probally early before the weekend. if someone has a minute to fill me in that would be great. thanks dr |
wife wants to know what will most of the wifes be doing? also are there any plans for family types events etc? |
David, Consider this an invite. Kenny, I don't have anything official for the wives or the kids. If any of the gals want to roll over to Chelan for the afternoon, there will be plenty of us left to watch the kids. As for the kids, they basically run themselves to exhaustion by the end of day. |
We have an inflateble bounce house, its only 8x10 but some younger kids might enjoy? Do any of the other wifes board? are/will they planning a women only runs/tubing? |
Troy/Mike - Are you guys bring your women or another people with you this year? |
Eagle - Wish you could join us and show what the MCs can do. On second thought, maybe not, wouldn't want the cc looking bad next to that x1. Better stay away. LOL! Jakober - You know we're there the whole time. Wed-Sun is he only way we roll! I know my wife and another will be out riding. Our little one will probably be on the boat skiing, surfing and maybe riding. The tube will be lost and left at home (tee hee, sorry you'll have to ski). For any girls wanting to ride Mrs. Noti might be taking the boat out for a girls ride on Sat or Sun. |
Noti, My wife would enjoy hanging out with other women on the boat since normally she's only out on the boat when its a family day. Not many if any at all board on Whidbey Island. |
Unfortunely I have to bring our 2 man tube since we have other family coming thats are just getting into boating/boarding. I want to teach that if you tube how to STAY AWAY for boarders and tearing up the BUTTA! |
Have you guys tried the wakekite yet? Dave from Adrenaline has one. I've ridden with him a couple of times when he's used it, including yesterday. Another fun toy to add to the quiver. |
Here are some of Christie's pictures from 2005.
I think I will be ridin the dirty dirty D |
Have fun with that Rick. |
Matt, I run the Bellevue Golf Course. Jason, I will be heading to Roosevelt for the weekend for more glass and houseboats. The pictures you posted look nice, but I think I will find some decent water at Roosevelt Laci, Of course Jenn will be working that week and weekend. I won't be there over the weekend though, we are playing golf Friday morning then heading east to the Houseboats. |
hey guys where are all of these spots in relation to the George Gorge. We will be up at Dave Matthews for that weekend, but only going to the show one day and people talked about boating on the Columbia while we are there??? Let me know if it is anywhere close or way off? Is it worth bringing a boat to the concert and then hitting the river? |
We'll be atleast an hour and a half drive by car north of you (Pateros is north of Wenatchee and Entiat by 30-45 mins, 20 min east of Chelan). But Creasent Bar is really close and there will be a ton of action going on there that w/e. Look further up the post, Mike and Adam are going to be done that way over the w/e. |
You're 1.5 hours to Pateros from the Gorge. You're probably about 30 minutes to Crescent Bar or the old Vantage Highway launch. I hear Crescent Bar has become quite the party spot nowadays. (Message edited by helinut on August 21, 2007) |
Diggs, Your pretty far south of us at the gorge. You can launch your boat and run up river from Vantage if you want to listen to the concert from the water. I would rather go to the concert itself considering there will probably be a billion swooning chics at a Dave Mathews concert. |
yeah i really have no interest in bringing our boat into that lot either, but the idea has been considered.... how well do you hear the music from the river? |
You can hear it real well. The atmoshere down on the river during a concert ie visual partying is awesome. There's a great spot on the shore where everyone can pull up and tailgate. |
Cliff are you counting Jeff/Bryan's boat? I think that is a Moomba of some sort. Troy just emailed me that gang will be there Wednesday, Thursday and leaving Friday. Which you probably already knew about. |
Moomba XLV... Yep. |
Bringing Moomba XLV so make that 8 boats. We have a pretty full crew but Im sure we can pick up a rider or two on some of our runs. Seems like we have a lot of prizes this year that Cliff and Hahn arranged. Why not have both a King of Crash and a best new (landed) trick contest? That way everyone out there has a shot at something. |
It looks pretty official for me now....we'll be up Friday morning, but have to leave Sat evening. I should have room for a couple of folks through the day on my boat. |
Is it time yet???
From the 1st NWWF circa 2002.
Look what 5 years has done to Cliff. LOL!!! I've got a bad itch that needs scratching. Can we leave today and just sleep wherever? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Will next Wednesday ever come? |
Those last pics are priceless! |
Brad, I guess you just happened to "find" those pictures. Hard to believe it was that long ago. Those are a little bit more tame then some of the ones that are circulating here in Vegas. |
I maybe in the area. . . Can I pick up a ride from someone? Gary do you have any room in the boat for an extra rider? I hear Dusty maybe heading over too! |
So no EPIC at NWWF?!?! |
Weather anyone? http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/USWA0339?from=search_10day I think I've got our special video / camera chic lined up now. Top secret though, at least until tomorrow. |
Chris, you are more than welcome. Dusty is coming over on friday and camping. I think that jason roberts will be in the area on friday also |
Cliff, is she bringing jello shots??? |
Maaaaaaybe... Let's just say she knows Scottie's snore very well. |
Cliff, shoot me your address and I'll get that stuff shipped to your house. I wanna see some serious crash videos! |
I am fully on board with the new trick landed contest in addition to the king of crash. |
Another couple pics from years past. I believe the first pic is circa the "chipper beef jerky" era. Where's the beef Hahn? Haha
Gary shoot me an email with your number. tshmitty@gmail.com I'd love to come for a pull on my favorite Malibu. Is Kelly coming too, or is just you and the wife? |
I hate you guys. so jealous. count me and the wife in for next year. |
Cliff, what is the status on the potluck? For anyone who might be interested I will have a 2007 Ronix One 142 blem up for sale. Only ridden a couple of times. I am told I am not allowed to ride it anymore, so it will be for sale, not sure on the price yet. Also, everyone remember to bring your slider boards, the kicker will be completed on Saturday so get ready. |
Potluck, King of Crash, Best New Trick, and best Safety Dance rules will be posted this Saturday for all interested. |

Probably no jello shots....just a camera and a kid ;-) |
This looks like its gonna be fun! Maybe next year |
That's alright Fisher, you couldn't throw the jello shots very well anyway. Glad to hear you and Josh are coming up. Safe travels, See you Friday. |
Coop, One of these days I'll get you and Walt up here. |
I wonder if airport security would allow a cooler full of jello shots? lol See you all Friday! |
Looks like I will be last minute cancelling due to injury. I was thinking of coming over just to drink beer but seeing 8 boats tear up the butter will just make me too sad (not too mention the doctor recommends staying off alcohol and caffein). I hope to be back on the water in a couple weeks. Everyone have a great time and there will be a hotel room opening up so hopefully someone else will be able to fill the void......Adam |
Look what we (Brad) were doing did this Saturday.
Bring your helmets folks. |
Prizes this year. King of crash first place - Dr Pepper Mtn Bike second place - years subscription to Wakeboarding magazine. Best Trick first place - pair of large 07 Obrien Zenon bindings. Second place - a pair of Arnette 4079 full house sunglasses in shiny black with polarized lenses Third place - Jet Pilot Falcon Molded S/E Comp Vest Blue Safety Dance first place - R2D2 cooler Second place - R2D2 cooler The winners will be named around 8pm Saturday after all vids and pics have been submitted. Potluck will be Saturday Night starting at sixish. Bring your own meat to BBQ, and one side dish of your choice. We don't expect anyone to get too fancy just bring whatever dish is easiest for you. |
Almost forgot... Weather is going to be awful. http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/USWA0339?from=search_10day |
With an hour of hard work and a good buddy, I got the slider done as well. It is officially on!!!!
It doesn't look like the pvc is going to extend into the water on the kicker. I hope I am wrong but I think there are plenty of tools and hands available if it needs to change. |
Mike, the slider looks good. As for the kicker, there is less foam at the start of the ramp than there was before. If anything, we might have too much slope to it. We are bringing it unassembled so we can float it at the ramp and tune it as necessary. Like Cliff said, bring your helmets kiddies. |
I found and will bring Jello shot cups. Think we can make them there? What do we need to fill them besides jello? We have another newcomer joining us for Wakefest. She will be in our room for the weekend. Mike - The slider looks good. Brad - Nice job on the kicker. Saw it at Cliffs tonight and I agree that the PVC will be in the water and may be a bit more of a slope than you want. Regardless it will be fun to watch all the crashes off that kicker. |
As long as the kicker pitch is between 15 and 20 degrees, we are good to go. I'll be happy to be the crash test dummy for both of them!!! Dave....Booze!! |
Noti, don't forget to bring your range balls for some evening lake driving action. I have two boxes that Troy hooked me up with so we should be set. Will Wednesday ever get here!!! |
Those of you showing up before Friday, make sure you don't get to busted up hitting all the toys!! See you Friday afternoon. |
Hey need a little advice, which would be recommend to getting there from whidbey island, goind down through seattle or going north. Remember we are towing a boat and have little ones with us. Cliff, Looks as though we will be down weds night or first thing thurs morning! |
Kenny, You can either go over Hwy 2. A little slow with all the small towns you go through, but a straighter shot. Or you can go I-90 and go over Blewett Pass to Hwy 2, then east to Wenatchee and up the river. Neither 90 or Blewett are that bad of passes. Once you hit Wenatchee I would suggest crossing over to the East side of the river and then heading up. It is a bit longer in mileage, but quicker in time. Where does the Whidbey ferry drop you? In Mukilteo? If that is the case I would go Hwy. 2. You can call me tomorrow if you have questions. Brad 206-930-0908 |
yep it would be the Mukilteo ferry. what do you think for scenery north or south? So south is a little faster? |
Some friends who live in Edmonds (near Mukilteo) and go to their condo in Chelan nearly every weekend (Chelan is on the way to Pateros) get to Chelan from Edmonds by driving south on I-405 to SR-522 in Woodinville, east to US-2 in Monroe, US-2 to Wenatchee and then 97-A to Chelan. Versus going north to US-2 in Everett and east from there. |
Mukilteo to Pateros via I-5 North to Hwy 2, then East = 183.3 mi (3 hrs. 15 min.) |
what if I go north and use SR20? (Message edited by ghostrider_2 on August 27, 2007) |
Don't go through Chelan. I've gone both ways it is not as long on the map but slower, thus takes longer. Besides the drive up from Wenatchee along the river is a really nice view of Enitat. It will definitely get you ready to ride!! Golf balls are coming and so is booze for the jello shots. |
we (me) are starting to pack tonight, but a few questions. Do they have bbq grills if so how many? How big are the refer's or should we just plan on a big cooler? small town, do they have a good grocery store for meats (are they expensive)? Yes the wife said "BRING ON THE JELLO SHOTS!!" (Message edited by ghostrider_2 on August 27, 2007) |
BBQ's are standard state park type cemented into the ground. There are probably 6. The refers are the small college type. I usually keep meat and such in the refer and load the cooler up with beer. The town of Pateros does not have a grocery store. Brewster is only 10 minutes further and does have a full grocery. I wouldn't go Hwy 20. The pass is pretty steep and really windy. Plus it costs me a water pump every time I go through Darrington. |
So jealous of all of you going, have a great time! Whats the dates for next year, need to mark the calendar now! |
is that kicker and rail going to Crescent Bar as well? If so, I would really like to hurt myself on them. We will have the Mastercraft Seattle X-2 at CB for the weekend. Wave us down if you see us. |
My Friday (today) just ended. I'm going home and packing it up. See you biatches tomorrow. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! |
Darren- The rail will be in my truck at crescent bar sat a.m.- mon a.m. If you want to help me launch it and bring it back then we can put it in the water and tow it down to the lagoon for a few sessions. It's a bit of work. It's going on the northeast end of Sammamish when we all get back if you would rather wait until then. Dave- I am packing now as well. You would be surprised how well that slider fits in my 6'8" truck bed. |
I assume that those of you that are getting there early are going to provide daily updates on the conditions, and maybe even some photos. Just to keep the rest of us pumped up for Friday! |
All packed up and ready to go. See all you workin' sukkas later. |
For everyone headed over, have a safe trip and I will see ya there manyana (sp) |
what exit in pateros or is it just one exit in the town? |
Don't blink while you are driving....you might just miss the turn. There isn't really an exit. There are two turns both will lead you to the hotel. If you take the first right turn (assuming you are heading north) will take you by the gas station (the scenic route...2 minutes longer because you get to see the RV hookups). Enjoy! |
Here are ramp pics before the mods:
I sent the schwag to Cliff on Monday UPS ground. I think he left this morning? It won't be there till tomorrow. Someone should go by his house and pick it up. |
John, looks good! What happened next??? |
not sure on those, i think they are all separate attempts, i do know i crashed on more than i landed. that ramp works well for 3s and tantrums once you get it figured out. i can't wait to see some pics of it in action this weekend. |
Nice job, it looks like fun. See you Friday! |
My trip up may be cancelled....Wife broke her ankle Sun and we go to the ortho doc in the morning. If I make it up it will just be me and one of my daughters, so we'll be looking for a third. Christie, hope we get to see you there...I haven't seen you since Nov 02. Hope to see all of you in a couple of days. Greg |
Greg - Sorry to hear about your wife's ankle. We too had to cancel due to a family illness. We will be heading south instead. Maybe next time |
JonFo - You going to Pateros this weekend? I second Jon's excitement for the pics of all the action on the rail and the ramp. |
What an AWESOME event! Weather was great, water was incredible, riding was super. Looked liek everyone had a great time. Some are still there. We have a new KIng of crash and the vid will be up soon. More pictures to follow as soon as I get the disc. Thanks to NWWF for putting this together, Steve and everyone else for the prizes, and our new photographer Annie. She took some great pictures (even made me look godd and that's not easy-HA!). Good times. Check back this afternoon for vid and pictures. |
Here we go! The Caravan on Wednesday
The toys
Mike getting ready for the test
Evening of day 1 after it kicked our arshes
Had a blast this year. Weather was awesome, water was perfect, managed a legendary hangover one of the days, met and hung out with Shaun Kilgus, got to meet and hang out with ton of new folks from all over the northwest, landed two out of five attempts at the kicker, rode my but off, had a great potluck bbq with everyone, got a round of golf in, and finally got my wife out on the water for a cruise. This was by far my favorite NWWF, and we will definitely be doing it Labor Day weekend next year. I didn't get too many pics, but my wife caught my impression of Super Dave on the kicker. My first attempt. http://wakepics.com/view_single.php/Ouch-_wakeboarding-photos.html?medid=21540 My second. http://wakepics.com/view_single.php/Jakober-talks-me-through-it._wakeboarding-photos.html?medid=21539 Note Jay Jay Jakober talking me through the second with his mind melding powers. |
I didn't have alot of video. I was too busy riding to film, but I did capture the true feeling of the Wakefest. King of Crash is included. http://www.wakepics.com/view_single.php/pateros-07_wakeboarding-photos.html?medid=21541 |

Uneditedand with sound King of Crash. The slap you hear is the board hitting the front of the barrel. Troy hit it soo hard it actually knocked the barrels loose and cracked his molded in fin. Definitely deserving of the title King Of Crash and the Grand Prize. |

Great time! Thanks for having us for our first season, can't wait for next year! Family had a great time even though the our boat caught the "FLU" I have pics I will post soon, just need time to re-size them. |
Hey Kenny, Here is a great program to resize pictures real fast. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx You'll see it in there. You can choose all your pictures, right click, and resize them all to a certain size. Works very nice for those large amount of pics. |
Thanks for the good times over there. Wish I could have stuck around longer but Crescent bar was calling me as well. Here are a few pics. We were able to get brooke up on a horseshoe ski at CB. I think that was the highlight of my trip with the late night B.S. session on thursday coming in a close second. So who won best new trick or was that eliminated?
and a few from Crescent bar

Man I missed out. |
Mike - I don't think anything can come close to topping the Thursday night BS session. Cliff was definitely out of control and Scotty eggin' him only helped make it better. Best new trick was thrown out. Guess my Switch TS W2W, HS Shifty, TS BS surface 180 (switch and regular)and the Stalefish grab were the only never before thrown tricks and didn't count as being "good" enough tricks (yes I have them on film/have proof). Steve - You really missed out on the best NWWF yet. |
Just got home. THANKS for the weekend plus a few days. You are right Cliff, The best yet. JJakober I have some stuff that you left in my boat pm me with your address, and I will send it to you |
Sorry about that Gary, and thanks for the pull!! Your wake was sweet as usual. It was nice hanging out with you and your wife again. How much R U selling your boat for, and how many hours does it have on it? PM on it's way |
So who won the gear? It was a raffle? |
The Dr. Pepper bike goes to Troy for the board slide to barrel with a cracked board. The rest of the prizes were given away in a random drawing. Thanks Steve, for the shwag. Next year there will be a raffle with all proceeds going to charity. With a whole year to work on the raffle, it should be good. I will volunteer to organize and contact the charity as well as hit up the local shops for donations. |

Great pictures Kenny! That was an awesome trip, next year I think we should do two. Thanks to everyone who gave me a pull and thanks to Cliff and Brad for making this happen. |
Big Thanks to Brad for helping out as much as he did! Without him, the kicker project wouldn't have happened. His skills as a raffle drawer were Sofa King perfect. |
I still have no idea who got the gear? |
That's a compliment coming from someone that was Sofa King good at announcing the winners. LOL Brad - You should be be Sofa King proud. (You're face got mixed up ) Steve - Gary got the bindings because he Sofa King needed them (lucky he got drawn for them). Kenny got The Truth video (we watched it and it was Sofa King good). Kids got the stickers because they Sofa King love putting them on helmets, doors and the side of Cliff's boat. Not sure who got The Chick Flick, Butter Effect or Bentfelix vids but I know they were Sofa King excited to win them. Troy got the bike because his crash was Sofa King bad. Someone's 3yo got the R2D2 Cooler because his Safety Dance skillz were Sofa King good. |

Thanks for a great time and event! Cliff, sign us up for next year. If any of you from the west side are over here before the lakes freeze let me know and we'll get on the water. Greg |

We were in Pateros this last weekend with you all- White with Black X-2- it was great watching all of the riders. Monday, the locals were coming up to our boat yelling- "flip-flip-flip". We aren't at that level, so we had to disappoint them. Looked like a great event. We have a place in Chelan, but can't wakeboard there. |
