I was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to ride near Emerald Isle, North Carolina, because my dad says that we're taking a vacation there.

It's a wakeboard site for NC,VA,SC riders.

I grew up around Emerald Isle many years ago. . .but I do know people wakeboard in the sound that's between the island that Emerald Isle is located on and Morehead City.
