I've been thinking about new bindings and I'm wondering which ones you guys recomend. I'm looking in the $300 range. I tried on a pair of 3DS' today and liked them, I was also looking at LF Sphynx but they didn't have any so I couldn't try them on. What other one's should I look at?

I'm a total newb, so my opinion may not carry a lot of weight, but I got hooked on the CWB hinge tech bindings right off the bat. They're stupid easy to get in and out of. The Factions run about $270.

the factions are nice but they're heavy. Unless someone says not to I think I'm going to get the 3DS Boots in the next week or two

The faction boots are not heavy.

not extremely heavy, but when I picked it up at the store you could definatley feel the difference between that and some of the other ones.

LF transit, just one step up from the sphynx! IMO they fit better than the watons, 3ds, cells, and a list of other bindings i tried on, and tried in the water! I like a tight binding though!

Don't get the Factions just because they are better designed.

Get the ones you like better.

Dustin I would say to demo/ride all the bindings you like before you buy them if thats possible, what feels good in the shop may feel different on the water. The 3ds is a good binding as well as all the others listed.

I've ridden the Sphynx's for the past two years. I just got back to basics and picked up a pair of new LF Ultra Suctions. There is nothing better. They're simple, light weight, and comfortable.
