I was checking out the Memorial Day weekend thread and I was pretty surprised. For those of you that have not read it Ill sum it up in my own words.
People are posting pick’s of partying, witch contain picks of Guy’s, Girls, Boyfriends, Girlfriends, Husbands, Wife’s, kid's ect. No big deal. Some loser a hole comes in and starts a new fake W/W account named "Urlesson". Then decides to make an example or take it to a new level by showing him in a Un acceptable way that he should not put personal information (pick’s) in a thread. Great lesson douche bag.
I’m kind of disgusted that this dumb ass was able to do what they did with out the W/W community thrashing him. Yes this thing is bound to happen but how come more people didn’t crush this type of invasion of personal information? His pick’s and posts are still up there.
IMO what make this site cool is its a community or a family. When people are out line I would hope more people would call B.S and smash it right away. IMO when this type of thing happens (people taking personal information) and re posting it to make a example not to put yourself out there it causes people to pull back and not share anything for fear of being made a example of. We all know the dangers of the Internet. THIS IS NOT MY SPACE. It should be a safe place from creeps. I’m not saying the dangers of the Internet don’t exist here but come on. IMO the min people feel like their personal space is being violated by posting here this site and what its about is in jeopardy.

I agree Grant...what an a-hole. I do understand that posting personal info. on the web is not always as safe as you may think, but come'on...posting a pic of your wife and daughter (who were beautiful btw) doesn't lead me to even consider finding out where they live, who they are, etc.
I think that the guy that thought that Greg was inviting trouble needs to reassess his thinking. It's crazy that he'd even take it that far.

Wow. URlesson made a powerful point that scared people.
Not an appropriate way to prove a point, but powerful. I think eyes opened a little wider when you found out it was a women. Would you have reacted that way knowing up front?
What if this situation was for real? Greg now knows the safety of his family was compromised and changes have probably been made.
Maybe URlesson is a good person that just made a huge impact of Greg and maybe helped him in a way? I think that if URlesson was really a weirdo, she probably wouldn't have warned us.

J-rod: However, it was the wrong way to go about that. A PM would have been enough. This put someone's life in the spot light intentionally and that is NOT right. If we want the spot light, then let the person do that and not a total a-hole like UR_Lesson. Totally inappropriate. Sorry, but have to disagree to an extent.

Creepy or not he/she probably has a point. Why would you want other men looking at your wife in the way that guys drool over these threads?? Or better yet, taking care of himself while looking at and fantasizing about your wife. People can do what they want but I can not disrespecting my wife in such a way as this to post half-nude pictures of her ANYWHERE on the internet. Maybe I value her too much.

Bottom line is IMO Greg did nothing wrong. He was contrubuting to a thread clearly stated. The only person out of line was UR.
I see other posters in the same exact thread with pictures of their wife's and girlfriends but becuase they didnt say who their wife/girlfriend was you dont know.

And it pisses me off at the notion that Eubanks makes that its Porn or anything but what it realy is. People Partying. Eubanks tell me your kidding. Grant - Please don't think I'm naive enough to just think these are to show people partying. You have to be kidding. Showing a cropped picture of some girl's a$$ where that is the only thing you see in the picture has NOTHING to do with partying. I understand the pics with a ton of boats tied up and people have a great time partying. The others that are cropped pics of a girl's chest or a$$ have no other intentions but for some guy to receive pleasure from it. Yes, there are much, much, much more severe levels of porn but to say these are just to see a party is wrong.
Rios - I don't look at those threads. This had nothing to do with me agreeing with those threads or being disgusted by the content of them. My posts were in response to the hate of this UR person by stating how I think they have a point even though their method of delivery was not the best. And how I think it is hypocritcal to bash this person about their posting of a picture of that guy's daughter when they are posting pictures themselves of others' daugther, mothers, and sisters.

Again: being an IT person myself, I see why UR_Lesson was trying to make a point. It's the way she made the point that was totally out of line. By doing what he/she/it did does not give that person to the right to humiliate someone like that. Completely un-called for and should be banned from this site. This isn't just someone who stumbled onto the website. It is someone that intentionally humiliated someone.
Sorry, it just pisses me off that someone would be that low and totally violates any IT nerd (yes, that is me and any other computer person) rules.. totally!!!!!

Grant that was my post and im sure if you knew anything about me you back off the douche bag statements. I too have posted pics of my wife and friends up there now. My post was asking a question not making a statement. It's either one or the other its either you like people looking at your wife (doesnt bother me at all and i do feel is kinda swingerish or a form of exibitionism which imo is not a bad thing at all) or you you just wanna show pics of your girlfriend or wife to validate your catch. Its one of the two...... If the pics are not of your GF or wife and just pics of chicks on your boat then im sure the mentality is" look how i roll". Whatever the case is all are valid reasons for posting to each is own.

You can basically find out whatever you want about people on the internet these days. Stalkers are stalkers. They've been around forever. I think the internet facilitates it, but I it's not a new phenomenon. I don't think what Greg did was wrong. I'd post a pic of my wifes A$$ on here without being too worried. It is what it is. Teaching your kids to be careful of the internet is something that is a part of life now.
I think UR pointed out a valid point that it's easy to track people down and that maybe you should be careful of what you post. I personally would have handled it differently. A PM would have been in much better taste.
I also agree that deleting those posts would be a good idea. I'm not sure that they are in line with the attitude with which that thread was started.

I understand the point that UR was trying to make, but to post it all in the way that he/she did was totally uncalled for. This started out as a fun filled thread that we all enjoy. I don't care if it's your wife, kid, or friend, if it's done in good taste, enjoy it. If this sort of thing upsets you, don't open the thread. It's obvious what the thread contains, just by reading the title.
Eubanks, by posting a picture of my wifes ass means she is "Half naked" what does the chick with the star pasties mean? and why did she /he not get ostrisized as well? Believe me, my wife and I have been married for 25 years, and there is no "disrespect" in any such way. Maybe you arn't so lucky huh?

My suggestion for the future: If you have anything that may publicly criticize, or may have potential damage to anyone, or their family, Start with a P.M. DONT do it on a public forum!

We all have personal info on the internet, and by doing so we are essentially putting ourselves "at risk." I have a Facebook account (I despise myspace), I am a member on this site and themalibucrew. I have plenty of pictures of myself, my friends, my fiance and I have info such as where I live, my AOL SN, e-mail address, etc...Bottom line is, if someone wants to find me then they can.
Also, anyone with 1/2 a brain could have found that picture. While I agree it wasn't in the best taste for him to post it (or even post in general, cause what he said was just common knowledge and he thought he was something special for knowing it) there is pretty much no way to keep your picture off the internet if you are a teenager.
Even if you personally don't post pics of yourself, your friends will probably post pics with you in them. Myspace and other sites like it are very important part of being "social" for many teenagers. Not having such accounts is like not having a cell phone, car, you name it...
While I wouldn't like to have pictures of my fiance or myself posted in a public forum like this, 1/2 the blame lies with myself for having pictures of us on the internet in the first place. Don't get me wrong, Urlesson is a total d-bag. But in my opinion, people are getting over excited by this. If he would have taken a picture in front of your house, or of you car, your daughter at school, etc...basically showing that he physically close to you, then yeah I would flip ish.

After only a year on the site I'm as disgusted as anyone at what happened. Whoever URLesson is simply went too far by researching someones daughter on myspace and THEN posting additional pics with what seem to be her friends on here. This appears to be a contradiction of his/her "lesson". Why would you further a situation that you are warning about. Hopefully everyone on here can take it as a lesson learned. I also think there are a lot of "pervs" to some extent however looking at someones personal info and seeing where they live and then switching sites to myspace and looking them up takes it to another level. I simply would have sent a pm warning that there is too much personal info so to watch out.

Example (I’m trying to be funny) someone posts a pick of girls. I look at it like a boat. I either like it and admire it and move on and don’t mind seeing more. But the way it is for me is I really like my boat so I don’t wish I had yours and don’t have any im-pure thoughts about other boats and only really get excited when I’m in my boat and that’s what your supposed to be like anyways so its all good the way I see it. You may see it a different way and that’s fine.

You know you're welcome on my boat anytime...except we know that on my boat all women must be dressed in turtlenecks, there is no dancing, there is no alcohol, it is mandatory to ask forgiveness to the other members of the boat if you fall more than 3 times, there is no music of any kind except for the singing of hymns from the hymnals I'll issue to each member of the boat, and all men are not allowed to speak to any other women on the boat other than their wives.
I've seen and done it all at one time so it's not like I'm shocked by anything I see or read here...I used to share all the same opinions most of you do. My perspective is different now...that's all. Like I stated again and again, I wasn't playing moral police...I was playing hypocracy police and never attacked anyone personally.

And Posting your 19 year old Daughter Drinking a beer with her MOM is also not a bright idea. IF you really want a bunch of Over-Testosterone boys and 40 year old men druelling over your wife and Daughter then more power to ya but IMO that is pretty creepy as well!!

What got me so worked up was how she compromised the privacy of a members family in order to make her lame point.
Especially when there are other much less intrusive ways to make the same point.

Those worried about bikini pics on the the thread/web, ask yourselves why women wear stuff like that anyway? To get attention, right? Nothing wrong with that. Nothing wrong with us enjoying the pics either. Don't think that anyone in those images objected to having her picture taken. If you still have a problem with that, don't let your wives/daughters have their picture taken like that. Don't let them dress or act like that. Here, this should make you feel better...
My wife enjoys wearing bikinis, and has no problem having her picture taken like that. I wouldn't dream of telling her not to wear something like that, even if I wanted to. I'm sure that my daughter will be wearing bikinis as she gets older, and as long as she uses common sense, I will have no problem with someone snapping a picture of her. I would much rather have someone appreciate her beauty, both inner and outer than (see image above) as a subservant that can be purchased.
Should be concerned with people like UR Loser, stalkers, people who put up web cams in women's restrooms/changing rooms, not this suff here (bun threads).

I wear certain style of bikinis for me, not for you boys to oogle. I also like a good natural tan sans tan lines as well.

Someone had the balls to post a warning and all you people can do is bash and accuse.
By all the negative responses that have been posted to said person, you should considered yourselves forewarned and hopefully none of this will occur. Now you can't say you weren't warned and informed.

Phantom.....I am sorry, but what was your point?? I read it 5 times, and still don't get it.
Someone had the balls to post a warning and all you people can do is bash and accuse.
By all the negative responses that have been posted to said person, you should considered yourselves forewarned and hopefully none of this will occur. Now you can't say you weren't warned and informed.
None of what won't occur? Stealing other people's pictures and posting them without permission? Is that what won't occur?
What should I be 'forewarned' about?
And what does any of that have to do with the reason you wear a bikini?

Phantom, I don’t agree with you. The radio station I listen to had this debate and it came out that if the opposite sex was not around why wood you care about what you look like. You do what you do because you want to look good for someone else, weather you want to admit to it or not, you do. Both M & F came to that conclusion. And I might add their were females that started out with the way you stated you fill about it then changed there opinion. If their was no one else around would you care? If no then you just changed you mind.
