Yes - we ride on the Fox River and on Wonder Lake. What is the Rock River like? I've only ridden there once - at the Ski Broncs site.

Its Glass almost every day!!! it can get rough on the weekends, but not too bad. you can go alot further north from the ski broncs and it gets narrower, and thus, calmer. Were you at the wonder lake tourney last saturday?? Chris

No- we took our boat down the ramp, looked at the conditions and drove right back up. They always put on a great contest though.

I ride the chain early mornings before work, otherwise the fox river is the way to go.

Liz, we recently rode with a woman from your area who has started riding this year, took lessons from Raging Buffalo, and is now clearing the wake.
She is die hard, great attitude, and I thought you might like to hook up with another girl to ride with?

Hey! Surf Expo was exactly the same as it is every year!! I did get some surfing in - really crappy conditions, but, as they say, a bad day of surfing is still better than a good day at work!

Great. I live in Naperville but the boat lives on Wonder Lake, so it's mostly a weekend thing. I'm not great but have fun with it. My family are pretty much warm weather riders, so I think they are done for the season, but if we get some clear days I'd hit the water again.

Weather hasn't been the greatest but I'm sure there are a few Indian Summer days left. Matt- we are the yellow XStar on the lake so flag us down sometime (although we are riding the river more and more due to the wind). Jen - are there any Saturday mornings you DON'T work? Keep in touch and we will put something together -- I need another girl in my crew!

Liz -- at some point we WILL put something together. I generally work both days on the weekends, but as of late (I think my boss must be out of sorts or something), I've been getting one day off on the weekends. It's just happened to be Sunday the past two weeks. I'm in town this weekend, out of town the next two, AND THEN it looks like I have a Saturday off. Let's hope for a nice warm sunny day! If it doesn't happen this season, we'll have every season after this one.

Adam -- I rode with Keith more times than I can count. On a normal week I rode with him twice a week. I didn't get to ride with many girls -- except for the day we did the chic boat, and then of course it was all girls except Keith.

Just thought I'd share my exciting news with all of you -- I went out on the Fox River this afternoon with Liz and Mike -- and landed my first toeside w2w! I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight -- which is okay because I don't have to work tomorrow!

Woot Woot! She did it after only 8 attempts and rode away from it making it look easy. Plus, it was great to have another chick on the boat who was stoked on wakeboarding - even after a super hard face plant on a heelside she was still smiling. Jen, you are no longer a Heelside Hero! You go girl!
Mike - I don't think we'll make it to Fall Out. Mike has a second oral surgery consult that Saturday morning to deal with an into the flats to knee to teeth situation. Let's just say I'm glad I wasn't in the boat that day!
We are loving the Xstar after not having a boat last season. I've got three of my front side W2W 180s and all four of my W2W so next year should be a good one for me. This year was all about building a foundation - backside 180s here I come! Mike's having fun, too, when he's not eating knee.
