I just moved to the San Francisco area, and am looking for some semblance of a wakeboarding community here. Can anyone point me in the right direction? |

There are plenty of bay area riders that post here on WW so You came to the right place. |
thanks, Joe. I don't have a boat, I was hoping there was some way to find a hookup, or meet other riders. Or should I stalk some people and jump on their boat as they're pulling out? |

Post a thread in the find a third section of the forum. |
You came to the right place, this site is an amazing resource for linking up with people |
cool, thanks everyone! I'll post up in 3rd party. Guess there's no local site. |

Joe said it...head east or north. Lake Berryessa and Sonoma are north about 1-2 hours depending on where you are. The Delta is only 1 1/2 hours east to many different launches such as Orowood, Discovery Bay, Rivers End, Tracy Oasis, and a few others. Most of the good lakes are 2-3 hours. Welcome to the congestion and traffic! |
Tom - In the "find a third" section you'll find PLENTY of locals to hook up with...enough to consider WW a local site for riders. Welcome, were ya relocate from? |
Campbell WOOT WOOT!! You have Lake Anderson, Calero, Coyote, Delta, mcclure don pedro, comanche, tulloch, beryessa, clear lake, shasta, tahoe, nacimento and im sure I missed about 20 others. |
