I just moved to the San Francisco area, and am looking for some semblance of a wakeboarding community here. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

thanks, Joe. I don't have a boat, I was hoping there was some way to find a hookup, or meet other riders.

Or should I stalk some people and jump on their boat as they're pulling out?

Joe said it...head east or north. Lake Berryessa and Sonoma are north about 1-2 hours depending on where you are. The Delta is only 1 1/2 hours east to many different launches such as Orowood, Discovery Bay, Rivers End, Tracy Oasis, and a few others. Most of the good lakes are 2-3 hours.

Welcome to the congestion and traffic!

Tom - In the "find a third" section you'll find PLENTY of locals to hook up with...enough to consider WW a local site for riders. Welcome, were ya relocate from?

Thomas,
You are always welcomed on my (our) boat. I live in Burlingame, just 15 min. south of you.
Just give me a call. I'll be out of town till Sunday.
