I am getting a pair of new bindings and can't decide Between the New Shane or New Transit. I was wondering if the new Shanes are heavy or if they hold water in. |
they don't hold water in, i love mine very comfy |
I think it's safe to say any binding with a toecap will hold more water in than a binding without. |
How about will hold water a little longer? It will eventually drain out through the weep holes. I think they work more like a wetsuit than a ziplock baggie actually. Think warm feet in cold months. |

Last time i responded to a post about toe injuries and these closed toe bindings a couple people jumped on me cause i said in my response i had never rode a closed toe model but i had recently seen a couple people with broken toes....well i still haven't ridden them cause both my legs are broken ha ha but i have a good friend and riding partner who kills it and he used his shane's twice over the last two weeks and has officially put them up for sale due to multiple dislikes so take it for what its worth, good luck and enjoy...oh he says water logging ha ha is not an issue. The holes do their job |

I'm riding the Shane board and bindings.. Can't get enough of them. Very comfortable and tons of support. Easy to get out of too. The water isn't a problem. Drains right out. His new board is awesome too. Having tons of fun with it! |

I like mine, no issues at all, heat molding works nicely enough, great fit around the foot as well. |
