I was just wondering if anyone has towed anything behind the new '07 Tahoe. I have been looking at them and just wordering if it tows good long and short distances and how the mirrors are for backing. I have a Malibu VLX and i have looked into the towing weight so i kno im good in that department. Any Information would be great. Thanks in advance!!!

Well i have the last body style and it is amazing for towing...ESPECIALLY the mirrors. I have no blind spot whatsoever, and i assume the same for the new one.

The New Tahoe/Yukon & Denali/Escalade are all adequate vehicles for boat towing. (Same platforms).

I have a new '07 Escalade, and prior, an '01 Denali. The 4 spd tranny was a pain because I live in Tahoe. Even with 320hp, it would be screaming in 2nd gear trying to maintain 60mph uphill.

The new Escalade (and '07 Denali) have a new 6 spd tranny. The Tahoe does not have the option of the 6spd, so I didn't even look at them.

They are overall great vehicles, but for me, the 403hp Escalade and 6spd is the ultimate (in gas anyway). Diesel is really the best, but I'm not a pick-em-up-truck kind of guy.
