has anybody tried looking for radar lake using goodle maps? I tried a little bit using the web cam and timing it with the rain shown on the web cam and radar images of the rain today, but no luck so far.

If it's the lake in the background on Hyperlite's homepage, it's probably this one:

...known as "O'Brians Lake" (spelling?) on the USGS topo map from 1992:

O'Brians lake looks close, but I thought you couldn't see it from a public road. But it does have turn around islands like that one.

I think alot of that area was owned by the Welcome family which is where the DVD name came from.

No.... actually it is owned by
Herb O'brien the founder of both Obrien and Hyperlite. Unless something has changed it is private property and they want to keep it that way.

I said was owned. The DVD Welcome makes a reference to it...can't remember exactly but the Welcome family owned a bunch of land at one point. Have no idea who owns it now.}

yep. at the beginning of the vid it explains how the welcome family owned much of it and how herb bought it from them

Theres a big fence with a gate code and a lot of cameras not just the old webcam one
