Well I just got my copy of "Scrubs of the South". I love it, I think the riding is great and I really like the freeride feel it has. Zane's set i the begining was of the hook. I have a huge new respect for him. I have never seen anybody enter a trick blind. Everyone is landing blind but starting blind? Off the hook, and the hydrofoil section is kick arse.

I liked it too but I've lent it out and got mixed reviews. I also liked Exposed and never really hear anyone speak of it good or bad.

I agree, it's a good video, one of my favorites. Did you see the guy do that huge tantrum? He must've landed 15' in the flats... It was HUGE!

Maybe it was just me, but I really didn't like it. It was way to jumpy and fast pased. I did enjoy the seizure warning at the beginning. I had to pause it in the middle b/c I was getting a head ache.

On another note, the riding was really sick. Adkison and Zane are probably my 2 favorite riders. The way they rip every time they ride, but mainly the way they represent the sport.

Walt:
Definately want to so I will be looking into a campsite.

I myself seem to like the Scrubs / Delta Scession type of movies. I am not liking the seemingly growing trend of trying to add story line (Big Wakes of Horror (Horrible)). Retrospect was about the only one that I tended to like due to it showed Scotts progression and influences. I would love to see some more of the "mainstream" riders in viedos they seem to be hanging it out there a little more. Not taking anything away from the big names cause they kill it.

That video is awesome! Alot of the riding is from neck of the woods too.

Anyone seen 12 Honkeys? I've wanted that video for a long time now, but never bought it, simply because it was only available on tape (sadly, I don't even own a VCR anymore). Anyway, I just noticed that it's coming out on DVD sometime this spring... Is it any good?

Did any of you notice Adam Fields????? He is coming up to my house in May to give 4 of us private lessons on our boat. I know that he competes in some National Comps and alot of Regional stuff....he is from North Carolina....lake Gaston to be specific

Did any of you notice..........uhh hum....ME??? lol WooHoo! Just joking around but Bob was however kind enough to throw me up in this amazing video(if you blinked you may have missed it hahaha). I'm kinda partial to Scrubs Of The South because alot of my good friends are all up in it. I also think its very original. Rather unique if you will. Huge props for sure to Mr. Bob Knapp for making this video. Its a wonderful thing what you did putting all of those faces and places on the map and I thank you for all of the hard work you put into making it happen.

Brandon, regarding Adam Fields, hes an amazing rider/instructer/friend. I can assure you that private lessons with him will be worth every penny. He has a way with words and just over all instructions that will without a doubt take you to the next level. I cant say enough good things about him. Just make sure to prepare yourself for an ultimate good time.

Thanks for the info Melanie!!!!! I am very excited for him to come up my way! I found his info online here and within a day of emailing him he had sent me back an email with about 10 paragraphs!!! Very informative and very flexible with planning the trip. We will be spending 2 full days with him and maybe even get him back up here @ the end of summer to see our "hopeful" progression!

If Adam rode comps as good as he teaches--everyone would know his name. Adam is very good at picking out the little things you need to tweak in your riding. Adam will explain the things you are doing that aren't so right and how to make then better. His lessons are worth every penny.

well by reading what you and Melanie have said I am even more excited about him coming up to our place! The main reason I am having him come up to my lake is b/c of my boat compared to his new Avalanche. HAHA I don't want to get used to that awesome wake and then come back to what I have. We are looking to get a Tige 21i in another 2 years or so....With the private lake I live @ we are not allowed V drives or anything over 21ft. SOOOOOOOO with my marina being a new Tige dealer and actually riding behind them the 21i is probably going to be my boat of choice. Thanks for the info Whit!

Xgirl, I've been checking out the EORG website and found a bunch of pics of you!!! And also of you riding away from Adam's dock!!! Really cool.... I just sent him an email with a pick of him doing a whirly off a DU.......pretty cool. Great website even though I have only scratched the surface!!!! Too bad I don't live a little farther south!!!!!!!!

That dude who rides the hydrofoil in the HYCO lakes section w/ adam is Billy Rosini. He owns a wakeboard shop and school on lake norman two coves down from me. very cool guy and seeing him do like 8-12 backflips in a row (ball and chain) is pretty ill.
