Where are you exactly? Looks like you are boarding in Mexico, is that right?

This is the lower Colorado River, just north of Yuma, AZ. It's not far from the US/Mexico border.

Hey Mark, I just noticed you're in Santa Cruz. I use to live in Scotts Valley. Where do you ride in SC?

The last time I was at the river I hit a sandbar! My wife was driving the boat when suddenly she stopped. So I did what I would normally do when the boat stops; sit down. However, I didn't realize I was in a foot of water! I practically jumped out of the water when I felt something hard under my butt. It was also the first time I had ever taken off my board and walked back to the boat.

We call it Clear Lake. I don't know if that is the offical name or not. It's east of Senators Wash.

that looks like it. there are a couple of cliffs that ive seen people jumping off. do you know if it is deep enough or long enough to wakeboard in? ive only been there once but it seemed like it was pretty well protected(from the wind. it would be a nice alternative to ride in. i guess you could acess it really easily if you put in at squall lake?

It's definitely deep! Look how dark the water is relative to the river (on the satellite photo).

I've boarded there before, but there's barely enough room. You start driving over you own wake pretty quickly.

looks like clear lake to me. The best way to enter is from the north channel. comming in through the south takes too long.

Thanks for posting that. It's nice to know our dock is still there
