I've been riding a 3 year old Byerly with Exos for a while and it was really time to get a new setup. I waited for the 05 stuff to come out and I'm really happy with the new gear, although I haven't had a chance to take it out on the lake yet. Anyway here's a pic of my 05 Substance 142 with 05 Alphas. I bought it from Wakeside and I was impressed with their service and the way they kept me informed about expected shipping dates.

Sweet set-up Bill!! I especially like those Alpha's they look awesome.

I've been waiting forever to get my '05 set-up. Hopefully it'll be soon.

Its always fun to ride something new :-)
Have you had a chance to ride those new alphas yet? The 05s look like they have much higher support than the 04s did. My Transits are getting pretty well worn, and Im looking for some new sutff to slip into, let me know how they work for you. Thanks

I ride the same setup, but 04 stuff.

You'll like it.

Well I rode the new setup today and I'm very happy with the board and bindings. Except that I already lost one of the binding screws I put them in nice and tight but one managed to loosen up and fall out on the 3rd set. I wore the bindings in the tub last night with hot water to break them in and they fit really well, snug but still plenty comfy and hopefully they'll get even more comfortable as they get completely broken in.

I'm thinking about changing the laces to the transit style split laces. Has anyone else done it?

Those binding screws are terrible, my 04 Alpha screws kept comin loose to the point of my foot/binding moving around on the board. Go into ur local shop and get some screws that lock down

those screws are horrible, i had the same trouble with my 04's. its kinda fun though flying through the air with bindings on your feet and no board....

Bill, looks like you should have used a lense with a shallower depth of field. The grass on the bottom of the board is still in focus.

that is not the lense. That is Photoshop or something like it.

Awesome. The LF setups look sweet this year.

OK, now I'm dizzy after examining the photo since Jeremy pointed out the flaws. It's obviously shopped - you didn't get a new set up you liar. lol

Dang Robert, good eye. I would have never guessed Photoshop

But seriously, the way Bill shoots he probably could make half of a blade of grass out of focus and the other half in.

Okay, I admit it, I cheated and photoshopped out the guy bending over in the background. Didn't think anyone would notice
