For the new season, I wanna go for LF, but which board ; The fusion or the substance? has anyone tried them (both) ??
And what's the rule for the length of the board, because there are like 2 a 3 types of length at each board? wich one should you get then?

ok the fusion and the substance are very closly related boards... they were both shawn's pro models... the fusion has one of the best pop in the buisness... the fusion is a board for someone who is going have a relaxed style of riding... like when you cut in ur relaxed (the opposite of necrasson) the substance gives you alittle more aggressive... how much do u weigh?

whoa dude don't even mess with the fusion, go with the substance. The substance is a million times easier to ride and still gives the same pop. I'm about 140 lbs and I ride the Substance 141. It's an '03 and they don't make that length anymore. Deciding on length of a board is dependent on weight and personal preference.

ya I would go with the substance too... but the fusion is cheaper and is a good riding board... 140 and ur riding a 141 im 140 and i ride a 133

Im 200lbs and my 03 substance gets here at the end of the month (takes a loooong time to ship to NZ).
we have a hardcore chick (130lbs) in our crew she is aggressive with her riding and she goes real big on her 03 fusion.
