I have always had trouble jumping the wake. I can do inverts and spins but can not seem to get a good wake to wake. I would like to throw some nice grabs to my style. The first problem is that somehow the handle gets way out from my body, the other is I end up doing like a blind 180, meaning my back foot will sometimes drift around away from the boat.

It sounds as though you are riding with to much tension in your rear hand. Grabs are all handle position and up then trick. Get yourself on film too.
