im trying to get more height on my ollie to jump onto rails and such. any tips

Just pop, and suck them knees up.

But seriously, not everyone can ollie very high... how high you can ollie is more or less based on how high you can jump on the ground.

but it seems like there has to be some kind of technique here watch this video of parks he is olling a good 3 1/2 to 4 feet i see he does suck in his knees alot about i cant get no where near that. if i press down with my back foot then about when it starts pushing me back up i pop it and i can just jump but still the same results? http://youtube.com/watch?v=iEAJNHABsjM

One thing that has helped my ollie's is to do a small ollie and then bounce harder into a bigger ollie. I don't know why but it helps me. Just keep practicing and you will get higher. I am trying to learn switch ollies right now and it feels like I am starting all over again. Good luck and keep at it.

my buddy tried to ollie some random persons boat and clipped it... he almost got the beat down
