jonyb, Did you happen to find out how much for a set of the 8" collar extensions or are they included in the package? Btw, two 18" + one horn is also perfect for a donk.

DavidAnalog made a post in this thread: Adding a optima for Amps
I'm less concerned with the discharge and more concerned with the recharging of dissimilar batteries. You can have different amp/hour capacity (size) batteries in parallel on the same bank, however, you really need to have the same chemistry. ...

DavidAnalog made a post in this thread: Tower and cabin speakers cutting out, sub still playing
Giving this another thought, it just about has to be voltage related even though that may seem a bit improbable. But more improbable may be an event by any other cause that includes four different signal paths including L & R tower + L & R in-boat...

DavidAnalog made a post in this thread: Tower and cabin speakers cutting out, sub still playing
I see several possibilities. If it's the Kicker hybrid 5-channel amplifier (Class AB highpass & Class D lowpass) I would assume that it operates with two power supplies so it's possibly just one section could shut down due to thermal or low vol...

DavidAnalog made a post in this thread: Stereo system noise from using phone/dock/charger
If you have no noise when listening to the phone on battery power but suddenly have noise when you add the charger then you likely have a ground loop. Here's the issue. The EQ RCAs are 'above ground'. The audio output shield ground of the phone,...

DavidAnalog made a post in this thread: Wet Sounds XS-XXX V2 Review
[QUOTE=you_da_man;1907017]Some people think SPL no matter how dirty it sounds rules the lake. Those would be the same guys rolling in a 1985 Maxima with 15" Pyles or Cerwin Vegas. I'd rather have my JLw6 properly powered with a properly built and ...
