Problem is the south seems too humid and mid west seems too cold. Now I am sounding like a whiney Californian. I don't mind a colder winter but I need the lakes to be able to heat up in the summer.

I am fortunate economically that I work in a family business and do the books. I am not tied geographically. This place looks awesome but I don't think it is a permanent residence kind of place. [url]http://www.lastchancelakes.com/gallery.ph...

Great that is the info I was looking for on the motor. How do you like the new X-star? That would be a bit large for my lake.

The 6 liter is what I think I need unless opinions point me in another direction. I think it has 400HP. The 310HP is not going to cut it for how I use the boat. I may be old but I am not dead. I still like my big wake.
